Our High Holiday services will be held in-person as well as on Zoom for those who are not comfortable attending in person. For those joining us on Zoom, mahzors (high holiday prayer books) and Memorial books for Yizkor on Yom Kippur may be borrowed. You may sign out books by calling the office at 717-232-4851 to schedule a time to pick up during the week

Erev Rosh Hashanah - Sunday, Sept 25th
6:40 pm - Mincha / Afternoon Service and Maariv / Evening Service
6:41 pm - Candle lighting for the first night of Rosh Hashanah
Rosh Hashanah Day I - Monday, Sept 26th
8:30 am - Shacharit / Morning Service.
Babysitting for young children is available during the service in the playroom.
9:45 am - 1:00 pm - Missy Yohn will provide baby sitting for our youngest children ages 0-3.
10:00 am - 1:00 pm - Jodie Raffensperger will facilitate Pray and Pray for children ages 3-7 where preschool children- 1st grade will sing, play and learn about the holidays. In-person only.
10:00 am - 1:00 pm - Kids ages 7-12 are invited to Junior Congregation with Mandy Cheskis and Friends where students will explore the high holiday liturgy in a mini-minyan and participate in interactive holiday activities. *
6:15 pm - Community Tashlich Service at Susquehanna River across from Beth El Temple
6:45 pm - Mincha and Maariv at Beth El Temple. In-person only.
after 7:38 pm - Candle lighting for second night of Rosh Hashanah
*Overlapping ages are purposeful because some children may feel more comfortable with an older or younger group. Parents - please guide your children to the appropriate class. We may go outside weather permitting and snacks will be provided.
