About the event

Join us for a relaxed evening of singing together. The power of song lifts our spirits and elevates our weeks. We’ll sing nigguns (wordless melodies) and liturgical songs, in semi-circle seating. These sessions are designed to strengthen a base of community singers, and learn new tunes together, so we can beautifully introduce to them to the entire congregation during regular services. All levels of ability welcome.

This program is a joint project of the Prayer Task Force Committee and the Engagement Committees, inspired by the musical scholar Joey Wisenberg, who visited our congregation in March 2019.
